Introduction to Astrology- Part 1

This course introduces you to the 12 signs, and the planets. You will be given a talk to listen to independently as well as notes. The lessons are opportunities to practice what you learned in the talks by looking at your own chart and the charts of other group members. Activities will help to re-enforce what you learn in each talk.

If you have a basic knowledge of Astrology but would like the opportunity to practice in greater depth, this course is good for you too.

Students will learn how to read a chart so that they can also read the charts of friends and family.

Lesson 1. The 12 signs

You will learn the qualities of the 12 signs, their elements and modalities. You will also learn about the Sun’s role in the chart.

Lesson 2. The Moon

10th June 9-11am

You will learn about the Moon’s function in the chart, as well as what it means to have the Moon in the different signs.

Lesson 3. Mercury

24th June 9-11am

You will learn about the Mercury’s function in the chart, as well as what it means to have Mercury in the different signs.

Lesson 4. Venus

1st July 9-11am

You will learn about the Venus’ function in the chart, as well as what it means to have the Venus in the different signs.

Lesson 5.

15/07 9-11am

You will learn about the Mars’ function in the chart, as well as what it means to have the Mars in the different signs.

Part 2 - Will cover the following planets and Centaurs, dates to be announced:

Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Chariklo, Pholus, Nessus
